Ahead of PSD2, I led day-to-day discovery and concept development for a financial services client looking to unlock new value from open banking data. With regulation increasing competition, the client needed to deepen customer relationships and drive greater data sharing.
From an initial set of 50 concepts, I worked with the team to shape and refine these into validated propositions through workshops, research and storyboarding.
Working with a commissioned research partner, we tested concepts with a 300-person community to assess desirability, understanding and demand. I then facilitated a workshop with the client team to review and prioritise three concepts for further development.
I designed the final propositions across mortgages, budgeting and debt management, which were presented to the Executive Committee and secured funding for full product development.
